new week beginning, old week ending

entered last week with certain security
that things were how i wanted
how i liked them to be -
at least partially
things were somewhat turbulent
but for the most part fine -
or so i thought

oh! the sweet concept of security
how misleading it can be
how saddening as well, when -
our little castle-in-the-air
it crumbles over
and we're left covered in dust
feelin rotten it's gone bust

emerging a week and entering another
a new dawn. a new life?
insecurity's the order of the day - the week?
feeling hurt and ravaged - but also fresh
waking up to a more truthful reality
security: go bust
it's unwholesome to get too comfortable

'Let me embrace' i say to myself
'the fullness of life,
insecure though it be.
Allow me to live the moments
each at its own time
and live a fuller life :-
