YELLOWISH RAGS

old and wacky
noisy, racky tacky
uncomfortable
eery little bump along the road
amplifiedd hundredfold
let alone the big ones what they do

squeaky, ricochety
rumbling along at a great speed
though one'd doubt their worth
in sturdiness for their sake
it's miraculous they don't
just fall apart, in spare parts on the road

albeit all these ailments
one can't but admit
they do have a character of their own
a subculture they are
the maltese buses
