the clear blue sky

oh the winter
season of bliss
relaxed are the forces
exit the heat - and stagnation
the humid sticky over-warmth o' summer

gone the anguish o' the hot months
earth's forces release all:
energy in motion
the winds blow - fiercely at times
the clouds let go
break loose on the ground
and thus nourish with water
set in motion the crops' growth potential

and hence our nature
lets go of its tension
accumulated for all those monthes
until it's wholly relaxed
and spring ripens all

outlet for nature
our mother in the penultimate
like us she's got its needs
oh - after a few days o' rain
the clouds all dispersed
exhausted by their rumbling
the clear blue sky signifies peace
a huge restful face freckled by stars

chill - at morning and eve
makes me cuddle and snuggle
with a smile, deep beneath
that nightly blue sky - addictive
makes me wanna stay up all night - outside
snug in the chill - smiling back up at her
